About Binder's Apple & Berry Farm
Out in the country 5 miles east of Mexico sits a unique business, an apple orchard and a berry farm that also produces garden vegetables, fresh cut and dried flowers, honey, hand milled soaps, homemade honey whole wheat breads, sugar-free jams, jellies, and apple butter. We also carry approximately 30 health food products and sugar free cookbooks.

In 1999, we added a large barn and purchased our first alpacas. Today, we have a herd of more than 35 alpacas in a variety of colors. We named this new business Mid-Missouri Alpacas.

Along with selling alpacas, we do breeding and boarding. Our farm market shop also carries alpaca apparel, alpaca knitting kits, hand woven and felted items, blankets, knitting yarns and beautiful alpaca teddy bears made from tanned hides.

We also carry raw fiber for those who like to spin their yarn from scratch. For those spinners who prefer to use roving, we have that in stock as well.

In 2005 we took on the Majacraft Spinning Wheel dealership and carry one of the finest spinning wheels available anywhere.

 In the spring of 2007 we added a large fiber room and a handicap bathroom to our produce building.  We now have a place to display raw fiber, yarns and all our finished alpaca products as well as a  work room for classes in spinning and weaving.
