Alpaca fiber is softer than cashmere, light weight and luxurious. Each fiber is hollow, giving it excellent insulation qualities.

Most of the garments we carry are made from our alpacas' fiber and others pooled together in North America and sent to to a small mill in New England for processing into gloves, scarves, hats, socks, blankets, totes and fabric. I also send raw fiber to a mill in Kansas for yarn and roving.

These alpaca teddy bears are made from the pelts of baby alpacas. They are exceptionally soft. Petting an alpaca teddy bear is the next best thing to petting a baby alpaca. We sell the teddy bears in two sizes.

The 13-inch teddy bear is priced at $35.00. The 18-inch teddy bear is priced at $70.00. They come in a wide variety of natural colors.

These cuddly toys are available in three sizes, at three price points. The largest one is 23 inches tall and comes only in the medium brown and white color (as shown) at $15 each. The medium sized one is 11 inches tall and comes in two colors — a dark brown and white, and a medium fawn and white, at $10 each. The smallest is 7 inches tall and comes in fawn and white (as shown) at $5.50 each.

This doll was hand made by a native Peruvian Indian. The doll is 11 inches tall.

This throw is made from our fiber that I had made into yarn and then woven on my loom. The colors in the throw are true to the photos: a basic warm, light brown background with white and chocolate brown stripes. I am very pleased with the yarn as I took a lot of time sorting the fiber and getting the cream of the crop, so to speak. The throw is very, very soft. I just know the purchaser will thoroughly enjoy it. The second photo shows a close-up view.

This scarf is made from our fiber that we have sent off to be made into this product. It measures 7 inches wide by 58 inches long (not counting the fringe). The scarf is available in four colors: Charcoal Gray, Ivory, Chocolate Brown and Fawn.

The Boucle (a nobby weave with little loops) Scarves are handwoven in Peru. They measure 8 inches by 66 inches excluding the fringe. They come in Sky Blue, Seafoam (light mint green), pepper tweed, chocolate tweed, twilight (violet) and winterberry.

These boucle hats are machine knitted and match the boucle scarves shown in the SCARVES SECTION of this webpage. They are available in the same colors: Sky Blue, Seafoam (light mint green), pepper tweed,chocolate tweed, twilight (violet) and winterberry. Their fiber content is 82% Baby Alpaca and 18% nylon. This is a reversible hat that is a solid color on the inside and multi-colored on the outside. It has a double thickness of knit and will keep one's head nice and warm. It is an alpaca blend. Colors (left to right): dark brown, brown and fawn.

These hats are knitted in at least three natural colors: shades of browns; another is made up of dark brown, gray and beige; and then there is one with gray, white and beige. All have similar embroidery – much like the child's knitted hat with ear flaps. No two designs are the same. They are hand-washable and may be laid flat on a towel to dry.

This is a winter project for me. The hats are made with alpaca fiber that we shear from our alpacas in the spring. I then hand card and spin the fiber into yarn. The yarn is then knitted into something that is suppose to be a hat, but resembles something that looks like more like a sack. The felting and shaping process turns it into a very warm and unique one-of-a-kind hat. My handmade felted hats either have a rolled or a flat brim. These hats have been permanently moth-proofed and may be washed like a fine sweater if they become soiled. I suggest blocking them on a 10-cup, Rubbermaid plastic container. That's what I use to shape the hats during and after the felting process.

Worn by Radar on the M.A.S.H. movie and tv sitcom. The brim keeps the weather out of your face in the cold winter months. The new rib style makes this hat softer inside and out. Made from USA grown 100% alpaca. One size fits all.

This cap is made in the USA with 100% alpaca fiber from our farm. The shell lining is a soft man-made fleece. This knit hat comes in the colors shown and is very warm, with four layers of knitting covering the ears.

The outside of this cap is made in the USA with 100% alpaca knitted yarn from our alpacas. The fleece lining is man-made. This knitted hat comes in the color shown.

At this time, we have these hats in two colors: ivory, and light lavender. The ivory hat contains 50% alpaca and 50% acrylic. The Light lavender hat contains 76% alpaca, 17% wool and 7% nylon. The brim of the hat has a soft roll.

The alpaca dress Argyle socks are available in men's sizes only. They are available in blues and grays.

The new Casual Dress Sock will keep your feet comfortable whether you are working outside or lounging around the house in your pajamas. Has a terry knit sole, lightweight upper calf and top of foot, re-enforced heel, toe and arch band for a proper fit. Machine wash and dry; however, I would still suggest putting them in a mesh bag when machine washing, and then set out on the counter top or hang to dry. Hypo-allergenic, undyed, 80% alpaca grown right here in the USA, 15% nylon and 5% lycra. Available in fawn and charcoal grey. Men's sock fits shoe sizes 10 to 13. Ladies size fits shoe size 7 to 10.

These socks come in two sizes: Ladies' 7 to 10 and Men's 10 to 13. They come in a Fawn Tweed and a Brown Tweed. The top part of the sock is made from a non-restrictive knit to help circulation issues while staying up throughout the day. The sole of the foot is terry, looped for comfort and warmth. Designed with re-enforced heel and toe and archband for a proper fit. The socks are hypo-allergenic and undyed, and made of 85% alpaca, 15% nylon and 5% lycra. The socks may be machine washed (in warm water) and tumble dried at low temperature. DO NOT IRON OR DRYCLEAN. Personally, I prefer to lay my alpaca socks out on the counter to dry.

The Survival Sock is a terrycloth-lined, lightweight boot sock with reinforced foot arch band as well as a ribbed knit ankle support to ensure a proper fit. They may be machine-washed on gentle cycle and machine-dried; however, I still suggest putting them in a mesh bag when machine washing and then set out on the counter top or hang to dry. Hypo-allergenic undyed, 78% alpaca grown right here in the USA, 20% nylon, and 2% lycra. Available in light grey, dark grey, brown and fawn. Men's socks fits shoe sizes 10 to 13. Ladies' socks fit shoe sizes 7 to 10.

Available in blue/grey with white background or black background with white. One size fits most.

This V-necked sweater is knitted in blacks and grays. It is made from 70% alpaca and 30% acrylic. This sweater may be washed by hand, spun in the washing machine and dried flat on a towel. We presently have only the Men's Extra Large size in stock. This sweater is made in Peru.

Available in silver-grey and black. One size fits most.

This suberb unisex vest is two vests in one, making it a great all season garment. This light and warm alpaca vest has two side pockets and full zipper. Updated with double stitched front panel seams to give it a smooth, tailored fit. Solid Navy Blue reverses to Charcoal with contrasting navy at arms and bottom edge, including leathers borders at the pockets on this side! Functionality and style combined.

Red Maple Alpaca Wrap Vest is made of 55% baby alpaca, 20% Pima cotton, 10% microfiber, 7% wool, 4% bamboo and 4% nylon. Only available in Peat Brown Heather (shown at left). Size Medium is in stock at our farm store. I can not order any more.

Red Maple Alpaca Zip Vest is made of 60% alpaca, 40% cotton. Only Sky Blue Heather (left) is available. Size Medium is in stock at our farm store. I cannot order any more.

Multi-colored cria roving is available in 4 colors: white, black, fawn and medium brown (top left), and in gray and rich, dark fawn (bottom left). This is the finest fiber that an alpaca will produce. It is from their very first shearing. Use this fiber to make the softest of knit, crochet or woven items.

We offer adult blanket roving in fawn and white, rose gray, white, and light brown as shown at left. This roving is considered a prime fiber from the adult alpaca. It is excellent for all types of knit, crochet and woven items such as throws, scarves, sweaters, hats, gloves, socks, etc.

Alpaca rug yarn is created by wrapping alpaca fiber around a jute core for added durability. Rug yarns are available in Light Rose Gray (left) and Dark Rose Gray.

The finished rug, shown below, is 4 feet by 5 feet and has 216, 4-foot woven strips or 288 yards of yarn. The finished price for this amount of yarn would be a little over $100. For additional strength, I recommend using an acrylic yarn for the warp.

A woven rug made from this yarn should give 20 years of wear according to the weaving company that makes this yarn for me. They say that they are still walking on the original rugs that were laid in front of their spinning machinery 29 years ago.

Similar to photo, and currently on the loom, another one-of-a-kind hand woven rug being created by Sandy Binder using variegated alpaca rug yarn from fiber from her own herd. This rug will measure 4 feet in width and 5 feet in length. It is very durable and should last for years and years. 100% alpaca fiber is wrapped around a jute core for added years of durability.

This braided tote is made with alpaca yarn braided with colorful cotton strips of fabric. It is 14 inches tall and 20 inches wide. The base is 6 inches at its widest point. It is a very sturdy, unique carry-all. Use it as a huge purse, a bag to carry your knitting supplies or as a "green" grocery tote.
