Allegro After Shearing

DOB: 18 June 2004
Color: Light Fawn
Sire: SA Adagio (ARI 801453)
Dam: Miss Jewell
ARI: 1028676

Allegro's sire, Adagio, is a multi-ribbon winner and his dam, Miss Jewell, placed 1st in 2002 as a juvenile at the National Small Farm Show and placed 2nd in 2004 as a 2-year-old in the halter division of the TxOLAN Spectacular and MOPACA Invitational.

Allegro placed 3rd in the 2005 Juvenile halter division of the TxOLAN Spectacular. It took the judge a long time to pick the top three alpacas, checking for crimp in various places along the body, tail and neck. The top knot was the final area for his decision. His comments were that these three boys could take a first in any show -- they just all happened to be together here. The first place winner went on to take the reserve in his color category.

In 2006 he placed 2nd in the yearling halter division with Alpacas in the Ozarks. His fleece has uniformity and frequency of crimp. His fiber is fairly dense, shearing 5.80 lbs. last spring 2006.

Allegro has perfect conformation and bite, and nice crimpy fleece with a soft handle. He is very easy to lead and has a good temperament. He is also full brother to Staccato BMMA.

Breeding fee $800.  25% Discount to past alpaca purchasers and on multiple breedings. New in 2008 is our guarantee that Allegro will produce a female. If that doesn't happen, your next breeding to him or a comparable herdsire is free.

DOB: 12 November 1999
Color: Medium Brown
Sire: Snowmass Peruvian Lakota
Dam: AM Juno
ARI: 818854

A very gentle male with medium brown, very thick and dense fiber with a broad crimp. He sheared 7.5 lbs. of fiber in spring of 2007. His sire and grandsire are both well known: Snowmass Peruvian Lakota and Peruvian Hemingway.

In his breeding career Cimarron has produced 7 females and 1 male. His cria are beauties, with thick fiber and a very nice crimp. His breedings with Princess Serena have produced 3 females that have all looked exactly alike. Two have gone on to another farm and we have kept Krinkles, which we would like to keep, but will sell if we must. We have shown her and she has placed first and second at the Illinois and MOPACA shows in 2005 and 2006.

Breeding fee is $800.  25% Discount to past alpaca purchasers and on multiple breedings.  New in 2008 is our guarantee that Cimarron  will produce a female.  If that doesn't happen, your next breeding to him or a comparable herdsire is free.

Stacatto After Shearing May 2007

DOB: 13 June 2005
Color: Lt. Fawn
Sire: SA Adagio (ARI 801453)
Dam: Miss Jewell (ARI 833033)
ARI: 1028621

Staccato is a handsome, full Peruvian, with excellent conformation, a good bite and is covered with lustrous fiber that has a soft handle. His crimp comes in bundles which are spread uniformly throughout his blanket. He will make an excellent future herdsire. His sire, SA Adagio, ARI 801453, is a multi-ribbon champion.

Staccato placed 2nd at the 2007 AOBA Nationals in the juvenile division of the Handcrafters' Spin-Off. It was noted that he had beautiful, high-frequency crimp with a nice hand. He received very high marks on uniformity, fineness and ease of preparation for spinning.

In 2008, his fiber placed 1st in the Fawn "B" Category (12-24 months) at the MOPACA Invitational, receiving high marks in fineness, uniformity, crimp and brightness, with few guard hairs.

DOB: 22 August 2003
Color: White
Sire: James TAC (1/2 Peruvian)
Dam: Lanark's Indochine (Full Peruvian)
ARI: 1003574

Augusto would make an excellent herdsire. He has that powerful build and beautiful conformation. We have not been able to use Gussie as he is related to many of our females. He would make an excellent addition to one's farm as a herdsire as he is priced very reasonably.

At year one his micron count was 18.3, with a comfort factor of 99.1%; at year two the micron count was 20. In 2006 his micron count was 22.1.

Augusto sheared 4.73 lbs. of fiber on April 19, 2008.

Running Thunder is a full Peruvian with 60% Accoyo bloodlines which include PPP Peruvian Grand Master and Peruvian Timoteo. His face has the Accoyo look. He has a very fine handle due to his sire's very low micron count. His fiber has exceptional crimp, with lots of nice luster.

His fiber placed 2nd in the White "A" Category (6 months) at the IAOBA Riverside Alpaca Fest in 2008, receiving high marks in fineness, uniformity, crimp and brightness, with a minimum of guard hairs.
