We are an approved distributor for Majacraft Spinnings Wheels made in New Zealand. Five of their wheels are described below.

ROSE – $1,190.

The Rose is a classic wheel for every spinner. With its spoked wheel and engraved rose motif, it is elegant with a traditional feel. It is super-easy to use and yet still has the ability to carry out any spinning technique you can imagine.

In March 2011, Majacraft released the new generation Rose. The lines are beautifully smooth and elegant. The motif has been redesigned by Tauranga artist Sharon O'Callaghan and the whole wheel has a very romantic feel to it. It is simpler to assemble, easier to use and more reliable than ever. The Majacraft Rose is a wheel you will treasure for years to come.

- includes the Rose Carrier which can be used as a 3-bobbin lazy kate. The carrier has rubber feet, a convenient carry handle, whorl holding pin and a magnet to store the whorl allen key

LITTLE GEM – $995.

Our Little Gem is a state of the art travelling folding wheel. It is especially useful for those who need to transport their spinning wheel but has the capability and smoothness to cater for all types of spinning. It is fully packaged with three bobbins in its own thermal bag. We also include a travelling kate in the bag for total freedom.

The Gem is also available packaged with the folding stool and they can be ordered together. This means the Gem is very suitable for use while on vacation or away from home as it can be transported folded flat but assembled or in the special carry bag made for this wheel. The bag has a carry handle as well as a shoulder strap included.

The Gem easily handles tasks of spinning and plying wool, mohair, silk etc. The Little Gem, although small and incredibly light (around 4kgs or 10lbs), is a full height with attractive design.

Our Gem requires you to part company with preconceived ideas about spinning wheels. Majacraft threw the rule book away! This design of this wheel is a revolutionary new concept.

The Suzie is our original double-treadle spinning wheel. It spins beautifully and is crafted in attractive New Zealand Rimu. All Majacraft spinning accessories fit on the Suzie making it very versatile. Some of the features of the Suzie are:

We also produce the Suzie Professional model with a green MDF wheel and whorl. This wheel is heavier and slightly larger than the rimu veneer drive wheel of the Suzie. It gives smoother spinning with greater inertia and is a favourite of many spinners. Some of the features of the Suzie Professional are:

PIONEER – $655.

The Pioneer has been designed by Majacraft to be a highly affordable spinning wheel – yet we have been careful not to compromise the functionality that Majacraft wheels are renowned for. As with all Majacraft wheels, our accessories will fit on the Pioneer. You can add our specialist spinning equipment if you wish to pursue different styles of spinning. The wide range of ratios, a versatile Delta Flyer and easy to use Scotch Tension System will make spinning a dream! The head can be adjusted in a similar way to the Little Gem so you can customize the orifice position to fit your style and body.

The Pioneer is now entirely constructed using solid pine and has a honey-coloured oil finish that accentuates the grain in the wood.

The effortless double treadle spinning allows you to spin for long periods of time with no discomfort. The pedal position has been ergonomically designed to fit you comfortably as the spinner! If you want to start spinning with Majacraft, then the Pioneer is the wheel for you!
